Hello! I'm Bryce, the owner and lead inspector at BT3 Inspections. This journey began for me after my own experience as a first-time homebuyer left me feeling let down and underserved. After purchasing my house and discovering numerous issues that should have been highlighted, I couldn't shake the thought, "I could have done a better job than that." So, I set out to do just that.
Prior to my career as a home inspector, I dedicated years to working in various trades, including plumbing, HVAC installation, and other hands-on construction roles. I've always been a tactile individual, captivated by the intricacies of how homes are constructed and how each system interconnects. Home inspections emerged as the ideal avenue for me to leverage my background, maintain ties to the trades, and prioritize my physical well-being. More importantly, home inspections allow me to assist people during one of the most significant decisions of their lives, which is what drives me daily. I am a nationally certified inspector through ASHI and a Radon Measurement Professional certified by NRPP. Each year, I commit numerous hours to continuing education, earning additional certifications, and staying current on the latest trends and technologies.
What distinguishes me is quite straightforward. I approach every inspection as if my own family were moving in. My clients become my extended family, and my mission is to provide them with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. I am thorough, detail-oriented, and dedicated to explaining everything in a manner that is easily understood by both first-time and experienced buyers. My aim is to make the entire process as seamless and stress-free as possible.
Having lived in Kansas City my entire life, I take pride in serving the families and communities that have shaped me. I possess in-depth knowledge of KC homes, neighborhoods, and building trends, and I am committed to helping keep this city a wonderful place to call home.
On a personal note, my faith is paramount; I am a devoted man of God, giving all glory to Him. After my faith, I am a loving husband and father to three wonderful kids. When I'm not inspecting homes, you can find me coaching my kids' sports teams, enjoying a round of golf with friends or family, or soaking up the great outdoors through hunting, fishing, or camping.
